G6 Aircon Issue

Hi, I recently bought a used Corolla G6 and the aircon isn't working. IT works for few secinds and then starts flashing... Any idea what would it be? and also if its the Gas how much would it cost to re-fill it? Pls help..

An A/C service costs anywhere between 50-75 pounds, but tell your A/C specialist what the symptoms are, he should then put some gas in wth a dye, and inspect it for leaks, it could just be it has not been used for a while and all the gas has escaped. There is a message here for everybody, you should put your A/C on for a few minutes EVERY WEEK just to keep the gas seals and other parts lubed

Yup.. Finally I got it fixed.. It took almost a whole day because there was something wrong with the wiring to and from the compressor... Anyway it works perfect now and they charged me £70 for the job with Gas...
