hi not to shore if im in the right bit ive got a gt st202 shes my baby had new kn air put on and new stain less steel exaust on too new plugs belts etc but she still only seams to really lift off at around 5thou rev's any idears or help would be great thanks

Seems a touch high. Mine is pretty poor below 3500 ish, after that she's fine :D

im in the same boat, but i have just come from a fiat coupe 16vt @ 210 bhp plus

im no longer sure whats normal

The ST202 isn't very torquey low down - mine progressively comes alive at 3000-3500 and then at 5000 ish - can feel a bit flat in gear at times especially when the engine's quite warm/hot - they run best in the evening when the air's cool/cold. Having said that, for the money, they're excellent cars from a standing start when using high revs through the gears.
