Corolla 4wd Diesel Estate?

Just bought a 4wd diesel estate (1998) and needs some work. Am trying to find a manual but can't find one specified for this model. Has anyone any leads please.

The problems include:- Noise from rear somewhere which sounds like rear diff or bearings but haven't had time to investigate yet. Leak from diesel tank. Radiator leak. No info about the cars history so need to do oil and filters and change cam belt.

BTW I drove the car 10 miles home today and liked it a lot apart from the worry about water leaking and the noise. Good thing the radio wasn't working as I couldn't have heard it anyway! Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

unfortunately haynes don't do a manual for the 4wd, i've got the one for the normal 1.6 and 1.3 but it specificaly says excludes diesel and 4wd models. try the icelandic's they had many of the 4wd corolla like the japanese.

Thank you for that. Yes I have looked at all the usual manual suppliers with no luck. I've asked several sellers of the CD manuals being offered on eBay if any of them cover the 4wd diesels- will wait and see what they say. If the 4WD just isn't available I'll have to play it by ear and see if I can find what's wrong myself. What I would like though is a manual which covers the diesel engine in my car. I don't even have an owners manual with it so have no info on the oil, filters, settings etc. and this would be verty handy. Does anyone know what other Toyotas had the 2.1 diesel and if there are manuals available for any of them. Maybe other parts would also be common and info on these would also help.
