Wiper Blade Hell!

I bought a Yaris 2001 onwards rear wiper blade for T-Sport. It was £9.00.

When I tried to fit, it was a million miles away. Then I realised it was for Yaris Produced in France!:angry::angry:

Does anybody know where I can buy one from on the net?

Thanks.

take it back and get a new one, shouldn't matter if you don't have the receipt as your only exchangeing it.

The French built cars have a proper blade, the Jap built cars have a wiper arm which extends up to form a blade, but this is part of the arm and not changeable (if that makes sense) The part you change on a Jap built one is the rubber, available at every Toyota dealer for less than a fiver

Thanks very much for replies. I can't really take back as it was from www.wiperblades.co.uk I'll give it to somebody at work.

Just a note on Toyota Wiper Blades. Our prices are probably cheaper than all the online shops. Most of our blades are £15 per pair delivered

had the same problem today.... french one no problem. like you mine is a japanness one so its a problem!!

easy solved, bought a cheap universal wiper for £3 14" robbed the blade from it and fitted fine.

had to adjust a nice curve into it but fits perfect.

hope this helps.

The Jap version is quite easy to change, once you have the knack. You need to keep the two metal strips from your old one, re-fit the new rubber, along with these strips. Toyota does seem to be the only place to find the rubber, though but like mentioned before, they are quite reasonably priced.
