I had the same problem on my corolla the studs broke.

Go to toyota explain what happened and they should only charge a small bit i remember 3 of mine snapped off and they didnt charge me to much to replace i have a topic up on here i'll have a look for the topic as i put how much they charged me for replacing them. Along with the labour costs.

Thanks,

Just been quoted £2.xx per stud from toyota and £69 labour if i want them fitting.

Think'll just be getting the studs, shame there's none on eBay, can only fined extended ones.

I was charged i think slightly less for labour but thats the price for the studs, grab the studs off them and take them to your local they are fairly straight forward to put in i heard.

I did the same i could only find extended ones.

  • 2 weeks later...

I've just sheared one of my studs on my Corolla Verso rear wheel.

I've removed the broken remains from the flange and have yet to get a new stud. Can a new stud be fitted without having to remove the complete hub. Can it be wiggled behind the flange into the hole and pulled through by the wheel nut.
