Hello All

On Saturday whilst my Aygo was in being Supaguarded I enquired about having scuff plates fitted as my little one keeps standing on the door edge so I think it will only be a matter of time before he scratches it. We were told that they cost aprox £75.00. However we have found them cheaper on eBay - my question is are they easy to fit, is it something that either me or hubby could fit.

Just wanted to say how much I love my Aygo, we are using it more than we use the Peugeot 307 sw except when we need the boot space, never thought I could enjoy driving so much already done 175 miles in 10 days which is a lot for me - I used to do 25 miles a week!

Hi,

It's very easy. They just stick on. If you're fussy, have a look at the Accesory Installation Manual (AIM) to get the exact positioning measurements.

The official aygo scuff plates are quite short. You can pick up longer ones at you're local Halfords (or similar) for about a tenner

Depending on whether u have a 3dr or a 5dr, the install guides for the official Toyota scuff plates can be found HERE or HERE

Seems to be a pretty easy job, even for a mechanical nitwit like me.
