Celica Back Seats?

rear base fastened down so no backs fold only :D

:-( im confused lol some ppl r saying they do come up... bascially i wanna fit a sub but dont really wanna run it down the side of the seat so wondered if i cud put it under the back seats?

you can pull them up if you remove the uprights first if you look in rear middle of seats you will see the brackets holding all in place

Fold down one of the rear seat backs so it is flat on the base of the bench seat. Peel back the bottom of the seat backing and you will see 2 gold coloured bolts holding the hinges onto the seat back. Remove both of these bolts.

Press both corners of the seat back by the hinges and you will see the retaining lugs that help keep the bolt hole in position move out of the seat back. The seat back pad can then be slid out from the hinges.
