Question for everyone on here... Why does everyone pimp up the CTS they own. I see lots of threads for typhoon this TTE that, whats wrong with the original CTS that left the production line ??

Not having a go or anything i just laugh my socks off when people spend countless pennies on dif mods on the cars.

I never done anything to mine 04 prefacelift CTS in Black like if they way it left the production line

Always wondered why you all keep doing it ??

Improvements can always be made to any car!

Modifying cars makes no economical or logical sense, however car manufactures build cars to a price and spend the minimum they can prior to sending the car to market. So as Norfolk says any car can be improved, Toyota could have made the Corolla as fast a Bugatti Veyron but i doubt many people would pay £850,000.00 for one!

I do think life would be a bit boring if we all stayed as same.

Maybe you should drive a "Pimped" CTS and see if you can appreciate the difference, it may not prompt you to rush out and spend some money, but it could create some understanding of why its done.

i think it's all bout improving what's already there an adding your own personal touch to the car to suit the driver

it's an expensive an waste of money hobby really modifying but it can make drivin it more fun

an personally i like to be different an change the car so it's not the same as everyone else's

If your happy still driving the factory 4x4 then who are we to argue ;)

I must admit though im not one for mods at all however the TTE springs have made the world of difference :)

Modifications like TTE are made by Toyota, therefore Toyota also think there is room for improvement.

And improve is what I like to do!

Because the handling is terrible lol. Coilovers and rear brace transform the car into the way it shouldve came off the line. And as for the Typhoon kit it makes it sounds amazing.

I have to agree with one and everyone here, about changing the little things, I have recently changed my intake system on my compressor and personally the car is a hundred times better.

Don't get me wrong I won't be going crazy on re-sprays or massif body kits, that is not me. I like the cts the wy it is but it can be improved upon
