Hi,

I have a 2004 T-sport with a very poorly engine, I let the oil run really low  and it has started knocking like mad.

From this i take it that I will need an engine rebuild or replacement engine. Problem is I sam pretty much skint so does

any body body have any advice as to where I can get a rebuil/repair done or wher I can get a cheapish engine?

I live near Warrington in the North West.

Thanks

Have a word with Rhys at Cardiff Road Garage in Mountain Ash, a yell search will give you his Tel. No. He knows the Gen 7 very well and will be able to advise you on the best course of action. Hopefully you'll be able to afford a Crank reground and new Shells.

Hi, sorry bout ur ride, dont know much bout the t sport but which ever way is efficient, rebuild might b what u need if after disassembling u only might need bearings n rings instead of an engine, so do a research first.

Oh, please remember that the motor ur running (vvti) the oil has 2 b checked each day or as often as possible, bcuz it uses variable valve timing which depends heavily on oil flow, viscosity n oil pressure is vital and these toyota engines are lightweight where internal parts r concerned. Good luck.
