I have a 1992 1.3gli saloon corolla, it has 124k on the clock, i was wondering how long will it last. I have been driving it for 3 yrs and my dad used to own it when it only had 20k. It still has the orginal clutch, gearbox, radiator etc.. i mean how long will this last. Or am i facing hefy costs in the near future. The car is used on the motorway a lot as wel as local. I am afraid i am not the calmest of drivers so it does seemed to get driven harsh... So any suggestions. ideas..

thanks

there are some around with 200k on the clock and just starting to degrade, losing some mpg, but nothing else. remember its jap it'll last forever.

If it dies, the engine is replaceable and maybe with something more fun for not a lot of money.

Most reliable car of evAR.

Sure you might find some bits that'll wear out eventually, but even when that happens it's a fairly easy car to work on, so it's never going to cost a fortune to put right.

I thought ours was going to last for ever, but unfortunately someone drove into the back of it and it wasn't worth repairing. I may still buy another one one day though because ours never let us down once.
