Bumper Protector

Hello all, I've just got an 07 Avensis tourer - top car but does anyone know where I can get a decent anti scratch protector for the top of the rear bumper. I know main dealer supply only is £55 but do you guys no of any alternatives?? Also is it me or does the tourer (1.8) need hoofing abit - I had a 1.9 diesel scenic prior to getting the Avensis - saying that it had only done test drive miles for past month and been parked on forecourt. Should I just thrash it on the motorway for half an hour to blow out the cobwebs?!?!?!?

There is a self adhesive film protector available (Made by 3M) marketed by PPG

I am not sure if it is any cheaper than the Toyota protector.
