As per the title, is this a problem?

Just noticed it recently, the rear wheels are fine which seems strange

My car is almost 3 years old with 26k on the clock.

I bought a set of these.

All the normal covers fit perfectly.

You will need to ask for the larger 25mm Locking bolt covers.

The locking nuts on the Aygo are even larger than this so I used a Dremel

to carefully remove some of the inside from these.

I made the walls VERY thin and they are still a VERY tight fit. You will have to be careful !

Fit them using grease or petroleum jelly. Did I mention they are VERY tight.

hmm ... have you had your tyres changed lately ? I say this because i had my tyres changed at a garage and after i noticed that the nuts looked rusty but on closer inspection theyre not

i'm sorry that i couldn't help more

Just a thought  Could it be something to do with brake dust :(

Mine were replaced on my Aygo (every one of them - except the locking wheel nut) by Toyota very reluctantly under warranty during the first year. My Dealer agreed it wasn't right but Toyota were arguing the point. The dealer replaced the wheel nuts on the car and I left it with them to argue.

I have been careful not to use aggressive wheel cleaners, but now just over 3 years old they are starting to rust again. I suspect this may be a combination of salt from the road and a not so brilliant design.
