What do you mean?

removed the excess weight from the boot today after its weekly clean - saved 27kg. might order the rear strut brace this week - not much trim has to be cut away, you doing yours too?

Re the Anti Roll Bars, did our cars have them fitted from when they left the factory (Front & Rear)? I ask in connection to the ones that Fensport sell (Front & Rear) , will they replace existing parts or are they bolt on additional parts like the front & strutbraces?

I have mine yes, when i get some free time i will be making the incision! I hoping that very little will have to be removed, it seems to me that removing a lot/cutting a large hole is required more for seeing what your doing rather than actual space required for the brace.

Yea you will be replacing parts already on the car. What are they claiming for the new parts?

they will be thicker ones then? not always a good idea - can cause understeer if too thick. like the look of the TRD kit which includes new anti-roll bars. me mate has Eibach coilovers and anti-roll bars on his VR6 - dont ask how much the anti-roll bars were!! do the bushes first, you might get the desired effect for a lot less money. does Tony recommend uprating the anti-roll bars before uprating the shocks?

As we are talking £100 each ish for the front & back, and the car already has these parts i think i will be just sticking with the rear strutbrace. If the car didnt have any i would buy some, thanks for clearing this up.

I haven't spoken to Fensport as i didnt wish to luck daft! I thought it best to look daft on here first

if your trying to keep the nose of the car flatter uprate the front bar , tho it was cause more understeer

if your trying to eliminate understeer uprate the rear bar , also have a look through the toyota system with your local parts guy . as you can buy under body braces and thicker bars from the compressor models for that OEM+ look :)

ive got Whiteline front and Rear anti roll bars, they r thicker than the standard Anti Roll bars, but i cant tell u how much improvement its given bcos wen i got the Anti Roll bars fitted in got my KW Coilovers fitted at the same time aswell, so OBVIOUSLY handling was A LOT betta than previous standard suspension with TTE springs. But fitting the front Anti roll bar requires taking out the steering rack and sub frame, they had to charge me and xtra £100 and they didnt do a proper job bcos they didnt put the Anti roll bar in the centre so the drop link was rubbing into the coilover on the passenger side, had to go bak and get them to push it bak to the centre, i still get a knocking sound but i think it cud b bcos the drop link is damaged

Flipping Heck Ckman, having read this i will be leaving the Roll Bars well alone as it sounds like a fair old job to replace them. Cutting the trim in the boot for the Strutbrace defiantly will be easier!

did they just push the bar into the right position that time or drop the frame again , if they just pushed it along ( read; hammer) check the bushes inside the saddle clips arent popped out , seen this happen a few times on peeps cars , can usually be seen from the roadside too with out jacking up etc :)
