Probably won't work, as far as I'm aware the Sony head unit in the pre-facelift Celica doesn't have the right ports to plug that in.

You're probably better off buying a new head unit to be honest, you'll get better control that way too. I've just bought this one and it'll do exactly what I need (although it would have been nice to be able to plug it in the rear of the head unit)

The Sony in question only has the inputs to take a CD Changer. You can buy I-Pod adaptors that will pretend they are a CD Changer, but names aren't coming to mind at the minute.

To be honest, I'm with GazChap. New Stereo - much better integrated amplifier, and integrated I-Pod connections. I went for a Pioneer DEH6900IB, and its brilliant, especially for the price (£160 from BassJunkies). Looks like its ben discontinued (from their site, anyway), but replaced by the DEH7900UB, which also includes playing MP3s from a USB stick as well - £179.
