Tsport Tyre Size

Hi,

whats the prefered tyre size for the toyota alloys? theres a few sizes mentioned but im not sure which ones will be best.

195/55/R16

205/50x16 are more a common sized tyre and cheaper.. will fit the standard alloy and won't upset the speedometer by very much, If mine had the 16" wheels that's what I would be fitting.

Note:. If anyone is thinking of changing up from the 195/55x16's, you do not need to change all 4 at once, you can do it 2 at a time on the same axle.. all the law requires (other than tread depth etc) is that the tyres on the same axle must be the same size.. fronts and rears can be different from one and other.

Eye and the are Fu**ing expensive, just had the nightmate of spinning the car in the wet to realise i had about 1mm left on both fronts im so poor now but at least i have rubber again.

I'm going to be getting 205/55/16 Toyos T1R this weekend. I've been quoted £66 each fitted by a local tyre dealer. Another garage wanted £70 for a budget 195/55/16 tyre! What a rip!

£66 aint bad for Toyos! I have 215/35/ZR18s T1Rs on mine! Think I added like £170 to wheel package for the T1Rs.

camskill.co.uk do remarkably cheap tyres particularly Toyos, free delivery too. usually about £25 fitting for a pair at yr local tyre fitters too...

personally id go for 205/55/16's if they fit the rims.
