hi mine name is claire this is my first post sorry logged in on my boyfriends account.

i have owned a aygo black for the last seven months. but over the last month or so it has started to run rough [sounds like the exhaust is blowing/lacking some power] so i had it looked at by my boyfriend who is a vw mechanic [free lol] who says the exhaust is fine but it could be the coil pack/s or a plug breaking down but try taking it into toyota because it's still under warranty. B)

that was a complete waste of time. They told me it was because it was a 3 cylinder and they all run like this, even though i tried to explain that its only in the last month it started, i also asked if they had checked the coil pack or plugs he said no and started telling me about it being a 3 cylinder again i understand what he was trying to tell me but just wouldn't listen to me :(

has anyone else had this type of problem both with the car and toyota?

Thanks :D

Hi Claire.

The problem you have is called "patronising"

It only happens to girls' cars.

Fancy you driving a car when you should be at home watching kittens...... :D

Go back and suggest a drive in one of their demo cars.

If you as the regular driver have noticed a difference then there probably is one.

All you could really do is compare yours & theirs.

Only suggestion I might make is that if all your mileage is in town,

treat your car to a 10 mile motorway run and clean the plugs off. (just in case).

Might help ??

Ian.
