Carina Alarm

My Father recently died and I have to move and dispose his J reg Carina Matchplay. Unfortunately I do not know how to turn the alarm off. This activates after about 10 seconds even if I try to turn over the engine; which is disable too. Can anyone help please?

if its the same open bonnet .at the back middle at top there a black box with a flip up lid .insert key turn off .if the Battery is low the alarm will sound .turn back on and try too start .this works on mine .hope it helps

Thanks Jason I will give that a try, although I assumed there would be something inside the driving area for normal switch off.

When the alarm goes of put the key into the ignition and turn it to on twice - ie put key in turn the car on so the lights come on dash but do not start, turn the key off again and repeat this always worked for me - hopefully do the trick!
