how much you paying?

£110 with Michelin energy tyres, tyres will be balanced and new valves fitted, the guy selling them works for Toyota.

Because they are used so the real valuation would be:

Corolla T3 alloys X4 = £100 (no tyres)

Michelin Tyres (part worn 5mm) X4 = £60

Chrome nuts come with the wheels as standard = £0

Locking wheel nuts = £10

So you are looking at £170, which if you look on eBay often this set usually goes for about £150 with all those things included.

Also the tyres are the wrong the size for your car because you need 195/45/15 to keep the rolling radius the same and the speedo accurate.

So in the end you will need to pay someone to remove the tyres and buy new ones.

Dont want to put it down but if they are cheap enough then it can still be a bargain

Great advice, thankyou.

To be honest its the Yaris SR wheels I like best. So I may wait and see if I can get a good value set of those.

You don't want to look at getting aftermarket wheels? You can always put a toyota sticker on the centre cap.

I personally would opt for 195/45 tyres, 60's could look like you drive a tractor with bigger wheels

Bear in mind that wheels for any other Toyota will not fit on the Aygo without custom wheel bolts. I have Toyota GB optional Yaris wheels for my track tyres and in the end I had to make up some bolts out of a stud conversion kit bonded to a set of "normal" Toyota wheel nuts.

You cannot fit the Aygo bevelled wheel bolts on the flat face of any other Toyota wheel I'm afraid. You must also be careful making up your new bolts because if they are too long they will foul the inside of the rear hub, presumably hitting the drum brake shoes.

If you are after Toyota option wheels, it might be worth having a look at the TTE 15in wheels available for the Aygo. These won't fit with the standard bolt set either, but they give you an extra set of bolts instead which are right for those wheels. Plus you presumably get to keep your Toyota warranty, TUV approval and all the rest of it.

Great advice.

I will just keep an eye out for some AYGO alloys then, either the sports or the ones off the platinum.

Although the more I think about it, I think I will put an armrest and rev counter in and leave it at that.

Incidentally, how much are the TTE wheels?

Don't know. But you can go to tte.de and there is a contact email address. I always find them really helpful when asking about the products.

If you are going to drop them a line, could you also ask them how heavy they are. If they are lighter than my Yaris ones, 6.6kg each, then I might fancy a set :D

There's 2 types on TTE alloys. they are around £130 and £140 (That per alloy)
