New 20" Rims With 305-50-20

Ever since GMC Suburbans/Cadelic Escale came with 20+ inches rims from the factory I have been wanted to get a set for my 2002 Sequoia. And my wish just came ture thanks to my wife's christmas present. I just got new 20" rims for my Sequoia with 305-50-20; but when I try to install it the front strut mount is so close that I am afraid it goin to rub the tires. Does anyone know a fix for this without going into smaller tires? I really like the looks of the 20" rims with the wide tires. I am even considering modifing the strut mount if I have to.... :(
