Any One Use A Pda Gps Sat Nav?

i've come to the conclusion that the sat nav in my yaris, is rather poor.

the maps are confusing and voice directions are too slow in some situations like very large multi junctioned roundabout.

considering trying a pda based system (tomtom) as i like the idea i can take it to other cars and take advantage of a pda's functions on other things.

however is it worth it ?

What version of Sat Nav have you got? I have the TNS 300 and find it very effective.

The TNS 200 isn’t as good according to Toyota Dealer.

I got an Ipaq and TomTom for Christsmas, haven't used it yet as a navigator but ny son uses a similar set up. The only problen he's found is that the palm can't really deliver enough volume on voice commands.
