Replacement Aftermarket Manifold

Hi,

I've just bought an MR2 Roadster - late 2000 model with 67k miles. This is my first post :)

The car seems fine generally, apart from a slightly irritating vibrating manifold shroud (but hopefully I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone here).

Obviously, my first concern is the pre-cat.

At first I thought I would just take the manifold off and manually remove the pre-cats. But then I found this replacement manifold on eBay...

TOYOTA MR2 MRS NON TURBO 4 BRANCH EXHAUST MANIFOLD

Does anyone have experience with this manifold?

They talk about 8-16bhp increase, which I take with a pinch of salt. I'm not too bothered about power increase, but it would be an added bonus. Do you think this is a reasonable claimed improvement??

If anyone has any alternative suggestions I would be very grateful.

Ross

If your are member of SC,I think you may get a 10% discount.Che is a great bloke and will offer outstanding customer care.If it cracks etc he will replace it or give you your £'s back.

Got mine about a week after ordering from the US to Ireland, you may get a bill from Fedex later,It becomes a PITA,it work out 15 euro, just pay them for shipping. Its a nice header, but once it heats up it goes blue-ish purple from the heat, but you can get it powdercoated as one or two have done.May also look into putting in a CAI,Injen or AEM [you can get more discounts @ Jnztuning .com[pm Greenstreak on SC]

Che also does catted and gutted downpipes, exhausts etc.
