Prefacelift Corolla E12 Grilles

Are the grilles from the prefacelift corolla E12(02-04) the same like T2 / T3/T- spirit & t sport ? comes to the worst i may need a temporary grille soon & crashrepairparts.com sells a T2 grille but the T3 one is more expensive despite looking the same & both got different part number, they wernt toyota part numbers though. obviously the only difference on the t-sport one is the t-sport Badge the grille looks the same but if i buy it as a temporary grille then not fuss about the ts Badge!

So i emailed them asking if the T2/T3 / t-spirit & t sport grilles are the same & why the T3 is more expensive & there response was:

"Hi, We do not list this part for the T sport. Thanks"

Damm you what a stupid answer. thats not what i asked, why cant people give straight answers nowadays & anyone bought from crashrepairparts.com before ? if so are they really that bad at customer service ?

The T-Spirit has a chrome strip around it which looks quite nice compared to just all black, would have thought the t2 and t3 were the same the T-Sport has the t- sport Badge on it.

Maybe they differ due to the air con?? only a guess mate

The only differences that I can see is a different mesh pattern in T2 and T3, and the T3 lacking a border around the grille, which makes it look smarter.

T3 seems to be exactly like the T sport, so i'm thinking you could probably buy the T sport Badge and attach it?.. probably saving a bit perhaps?

Yes you all seem to be correct & that website i looked at also have listing on eBay that list the T2 & T3 grille & the T3 grille they listed had a chrome around it, i was thinking isnt that a t-spirit grille as i never seen a T3 with chrome around the grille?, probably why was more expensive & different part number otherwise seem the same more less.

Although a thought - if the TTE grille only have 1 part no. & fits all prefacelift E12 then T2/3 tec grilles are interchangeable across the E12 !!!why didnt i think of that before lol
