Hi Guys, I'm a Newbie, I have just bought my first Celica which is a Gen 5 GT R in black, she is an Import but on the V5 she doesnt have the year of manufactur only the year of first registration in Northern Ireland (1998). She has a TRD Badge on the bonnet - if anyone has any info on this lovely vehicle please let me know. Also I need the paint code are they pretty standard - its all in japanese.

Thanks for your help.

Hi and welcome, The correct place for the full information plate for these is on the bulkhead (under the bonnet) slightly to the passenger side and quite high up. All those I have ever seen as imports have the codes in normal alphabet? I am sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. {they are lovely cars} :D

Mine was a black 1991 import, does your paint have a gold fleck in it ?
