:help: My Toyota main dealer reckons my 2001 GS automatic may need a new exhaust manifold priced at £437 to remove the rattling noise from the engine underload at low revs only. It has served me well from new and only developed this noise around 50k miles - mainly short runs around Hastings. Other local garages ruled out the exhaust system which they say is fine but one pointed to the inlet manifold as the culprit. Engine performance is OK but noticed some increase in oil consumption.

Any ideas??
