Hi i have have 2003 T Sport Corolla and im interested in lowering it. Heard Eibach springs are good but would just like to know few things.

Where can i get them from ?

Does having it lowered by the 35mm affect comfort ?

is it a DIY job ?

and most important is if fitted can it be converted back to stock easily ?

any advice much appretiated.

Hey. I've lowered my 2005 T-SPort on Eibachs. It does effect the comfort but not to the point where it's unbearable.

I also have 18" alloys with 215/35 tyres and it's still not that bad.

You can get the springs from www.Fensport.co.uk for £151 Including VAT & Next day delivery.

It can be a DIY job if you have spring compressors / clamps, but having the added benefit of a ramp really helps.

Changing back to stock height is only as easy as lowering it in the first place :P may be slighter tougher as the springs will need to be compressed more to fit back in place.

Tha's my 2 cents anyhoot.

just go all out and get the fully adjustable tein coilovers on fensport £540 set ya ride height and the dampening so could set the ride to how you want ;) ent a bad price either! and alot easier to fit, no mucking about with compressors etc and replacing the standards would be easier too

i got my eye on em anyway lol

i've got Eibachs but am considering the next step. been looking at coilovers and a couple caught my eye - when i spend money i always look for a good while before making my choice. Having swayed towards the coilovers i have now gone off the idea, heard about the threads on the height adjustment rusting and rendering it useless and everytime you adjust the height the tracking will need checked/adjusted and them temptation to run too low which is impracticale for road use - been there!. but the coilovers appealed cos you can tailor the damping but you can get that with normal style shocks so thats what i'm steering towards now. whatever you decide make an honest review............

well yer there is that side to em, my old clio gtt had coilovers and they had been on there a fair while, had gone rusty but i freed em up after a little bit of effort and lots of wd40 lol it depends if you actually intend on adjusting them i.e if you go to track days rwyb days etc if not you'll prob be better off with just the springs and shocks, cheaper too ;)

I got D2 coils with street springs and they are pretty good and not so expensive.

Before those coils i got TTE springs but they didn't lower the car enough..
