Please post some pics of your Blitz intake as fitted in a Yaris.

I have seen several Vitz/Yaris with a Blitz intake, but am not sure if the installation will be the same.

If the Blitz is fitted in the HKS way, then you probably won't get the max out of the intake.

If you want cooler air and more air, you will need to go to the front of your car.

i will also give a lot of cabin noise

I believe most Yaris intakes were designed in the HKS way, due to cost reasons and the ease of design. But definitely not because of trying to achieve the max out of it.

i have the filted mounted in such a way due to the fact im building a split charge system, and with the bulky airbox out the way and the new filter being nice and compact it sits up there out the way and leaves a massive void for two batterys to then be fitted in the remaining space.

im also making an alloy heatsheild with a built in cold air feed

How much difference does the induction kit make to the performance?

How much do they cost to buy & fit?

Cheers

Hi Lozza

Let just say that you will notice lot's more horses under the bonnet. I'm lucky enough to have 2 yaris t sports in the family. My one is fitted with a hks induction kit. And you can notice the difference in acceleration and pull. Not forgetting the sound of sweet induction roar :D

The Blitz will set you back £160 +vat from fensport

http://www.fensport.co.uk/parts.htm

The hks will set you back £155 + vat from TDI-plc

http://www.tdi-plc.com/toyota_yaris.html

Fitting can be done by yourself. But word of warning!!!! You must place the mass air sensor back properly making sure that it sits flat on the induction bracket or the engine light will come on. And to finish off on the tuning tip get yourself a nice exhaust. Hks, Blitz, Powerflow, Remus, Sebring,, That just about whats available for the yaris for now.

Hope that this helps you out mate

i was reading a link in a previous thread and it was a test on how good the filtration was of the main inuction kits

Blitz and HKS were the worst followed by KN and i think i got the name right apexi??was the best at filtration

on the test it showed how much crap was drawn through the other three!

ill try and find the thread and post it here!
