Toyota Yaris Brake Lights

Hi guys

i have a 53 Toyota Yaris 3 door silver made in france

i noticed today that only the left hand side (Passenger side) brake lights is working is this normal or is there a defect in the brake light on the other side?

i put the rear fog lights on and that seems to be working fine but only one side on the driver side?

You need all 3 brake lights working... probably just a blown bulb, should be easy to fix

hmm ive tried changing the bulb still makes no difference :| :|

There are 2 main bulbs on the panel the one at the bottom thats the brake light right?

One bulb is stop/tail lamps, the other is the indicator, there is also a reverse lamp one side and a fog lamp the other. Are you taking the correct bulb out? The stop/tail bulb has 2 filaments, the fog/reverse has one

Thanks yeh i finally managed to get it changed working

but straight after that the car Failed to start :| :| :|

i had to jump start the Battery to get it back up again

flat Battery perhaps? its done 70,000 miles so far no problems however once or twice the car automatically stopped during drive and sometimes it dont start at all

could this be a batter problem will i need to replace it?

Hi mate my brake light is gone on the passenger side of my 02 yaris, i opened the booth and a panel with the lights behind. I seem to be able to get access to all the lights except the brake light which has electrical connectors attached to it. Do i have to access it from the outside?
