Can someone advise me on the steps involved in removing the centre console in a 2008 corolla terra. I need to gain access to the radio wiring in order to fit a bluetooth Car kit.

Kind regards.

Not heard of a corolla terra but had a look on google images. Seems to be like the saloon corolla e12 kind of thing. If i am right there should be 3 dials on you'r dash console. One for aircondition etc heater the middle one u need to twist to the side and pull off and behind it will be a screw which you need to undo. After remove the ashtray and pull up on the gear surround to unclip it out of place. Finnaly give a little pull to the console and it should come free and just unclip some wiring harnesses for the AC and heaters. Have a look for a member called man-bing as he has photos of how to remove the console.

Go to this website:

http://techdoc.toyota-europe.com/

Click on Owner at the top.

Click on Accessory Installation Manuals.

Click Search AIM (big red button).

Enter in your vehicle details (being a 2008 your Corolla will be a E15 in the Kata Extract tab).

Then choose the bluetooth installation manual and it will show you a step by step guide.

Even though it is for Genuine Toyota accessories the steps will still be the same to remove the radio.

Good Luck
