No More Blue Smoke On Boost

As some of you know I had a problem with blue smoke coming from my exhaust during boost... well, I got it sorted on the Monday after the Camping trip as I took a visit over to Charlesworth Motors in Glossop :)

I have fitted a pair of Krankvents that I bought from ET Performance in the USA, and an Oil Catchcan.

The large Krankvent is spliced in between the breather and throttle body, the Catchcan is between the PCV and the Intake manifold and the smaller Krankvent is spliced between the Catchcan and the Inlet Manifold. This means that under boost no pressure can get into the crankcase and keeps the engine running under vacuum, and everything works as designed when no boost pressure is present.

Yippeee!!!.. no more puffs of smoke when enjoying my car :)

Next job is to swap out the ugly hoses for some nice blue ones.

Once I've done that same job our Engine bays will be almost identical. Cept I still won't have an intercooler just yet
