Yaris Roof Mouldings

Hi

I have a Yaris on 53 plates and i have recently noticed that the roof mouldings (n/s and o/s) are not fitting as flush as they used too. I do not really want to spend £42+ vat each for new ones or £95+Vat each for part and fitting.

Any ideas to what I can do / Why it may have happened ?

Thank you for you help

K

Never heard of this happening to anyone,

maybe its a new problem

i am sure you will get an answer soon  .

i guess you may have to replace them to fix it.

These mouldings on my previous Yaris started to lift at the rear.

They can be carefully eased out and spread slightly then pushed back in.

It worked on mine but the ideal solution is replacement.

maybe if it is parked in the sun it has had an effect.

Get one off a Yaris from a scrap yard.

Look on eBay for "breaking Yaris" you should find some there

Mine started lifting just after I bought th car sh two years ago. I carefully lifted them up (at the rear where they were lifting) and applied superglue and pushed them flat and held for 5 minutes (with a weight of some sort).

OK now.
