Help! Sports Exhausts For Corolla E12 2005(facelift)

Hi guys/girls,

i am new on this forum and i have specifically joined to get some help from you exprienced people.

i have bought a toyota corolla e12 2005(facelift) 1.6vvt-i just about a month ago and i am very happy with.

only problem is i cannot find a single exhaust brand/make which does sports exhausts for this car! i know toyota motorsport does it the TTE Exhaust but its too expensive for me they quoted me £230 just for the backbox!

could someone please kindly help me and recommend me some sports back boxes that are available for this car as i have not a single clue!

I don't think there's many about mate, Not even for the T-Sport model!

For £230 you're better off going for a full custom system from somewhere. Myself on the other hand is about to spend that £230 on a TTE backbox! The misses has seen / heard it now and doesn't mind it so much as long as I pay for it. hehe.

cool good for you mate. do you have any idea if the TTE backbox creates any noise on its own? because i use to own a peco backbox for my old peugeot 306 and it only gave a bassey sound and no grunt!

im hoping this TTE backbox will actually give a nice grunting sound

hi thanks for the post but i cheked the jetex website and sadly did not find any exhausts for my car. toyota isnt even listed for jetex exhausts. the laser backboxes only has listing for the old corolla's also.

ok thanks ppl for the help. turns out the remus backbox will cost me £254.

the TTE backbox is about £230.

they are both very expensive but i guess for this car there arent many options to choose from so i will probably choose one of these.

gotta start saving up i guess!

I was thinking og getting a full system exhaust but also found this site and it has the 1.6 and t-sport engines either a single rund or oval pipe, not sure what the make is like tho!!! Not sure why theres a piccy of the auris there and not the corolla!!!! lol
