That was quick. 39 posts and giving up already? you must've found a good price on something else?

Posted

weren't you the one that just had the plans for a jetsp[eed kit and some goodies like that? What happened?

Posted

like 2nr said - i found something for a !Removed! good price - il tell u, a 1991 2.0 GT celica - and for some strange reason the insurance works out cheaper on it too, much faster car, easier to get bits for ! = sell the cynos :crybaby:

Posted

might have a buyer ill let you know when i speak to my mate tonight

Oh well! At least your staying in the Toyota family.

isurance was about £800 top with liverpool victoria

At least you can still belong to the TOC! I don't blame you, thought it's always tough to see someone let go of a pretty good project car. Good luck on the Celica, though. Keep us posted!

god damn you 2nr - i went out for a last run in my car today and i have decided im gonna keep it - the car is way too nice to sell, and i have put too much work and effort into it - and when u said about someone giving a project car away i felt guilty :crybaby:

looks like im gonna keep it afterall - sorry about spamming the sales forum and wasting u nice peoples time - sorry :(

Victory is mine!!! Perhaps I should pursue a motivational speaking career. I'd be the Dr. Phil of cars.

Either would have made a good car for you, but I think you made the right choice. With the Celica, you wouldn't have gotten that, "Hey, what is that car" reaction out of people, which is something i really value in having my seo. It sets us apart from other car owners, and that is defo a good thing, considering there are so many w :censor: s out there.

Plus, you're staying in one of the nicest car communities on the web.

Good Job! :hokus-pokus:

lol - you did exactly what i do when i consider selling my cynos.

my mate was up for buying that as well.... :crybaby:

ahh well - im keeping an ye out for a paseo for him.

thanks guys  it really is the most friendly comunity on the net !

um slightly better than the pimp forums i would say - no offence - but people there just like to argue and take a few days to answer threads, good to see such dedicated paseo/ cynos owners, sorta makes me feel proud to be a part of it :crybaby:

Slightly my foot. The guys here are WAY better.

lol - we're blushing....

why's you think i left PIMP???

got annoyed that a few of the new members were taking the ***** out of Jacky - & considering how much he does for the paseo community & the fact that i used to chat to him a bit on MSN - just thought enough was enough & left.

yeah jacky is sound - i talk to him abit on msn also, when hes awake that is - being in australia their usually sleeping when were awake ..

but yeah - i joined the pimp forums because it seemed more specific to the car i had, but all i found were a bunch of children arguing of stupid things - making fun of each others cars and not being friendly atall.

and you are right - i browsed the forums when i first joined and all they did was make fun and talk about jacky and xracing kits - imo i recon its the best kit out there, pitty its so far away, thats the only thing holding me back from buying on.

i get one before JAE tho - gonna be my first show, and i want to impress :P

I've been saying that about pimp for ages, thats why I invaded this place :D

I was the only Paseo when I joined!

We've already got a better Seo community here than pimp ever had & it's growing all the time! :group-cuddles: :D

Careful now  We're not all British, and I reckon it's just the maturity levels a bit higher here

Know exactly what you mean though <_< Pimp does seem like a battlefield more than a forum sometimes. Maybe they should organise a male bonding weekend instead of a club meet :P

If I were British, that would only make me that much cooler! B) B) B)

I do appreciate the fact that we all get along here. I've stopped even viewing the Pimp site.
