Will Not Hit Lift In 4th Gear

as the title says, I am not hitting lift in 4th gear. I can get the rev counter past 6200 in 3rd, but I can't audibly tell that it has hit lift. when I shift up to 4, it hits the wall at 6200 and wont go any higher.

any help would be greatly appreciated because I bought the GTS for the lift feature- otherwise I would've cheaped out and gotten the GT
