Loss Of Power On Hard Acceleration

Hi all,

Need some help.

I have an 07 plate diesel model Avensis since brand spanking new and shiny. It has had a very easy life and has been looked after better than the kids. done 18k serviced at 10k and oil levels checked etc every week without fail.

Problem I have been having is that under hard acceleration, the turbo kicks in and at 2200rpm the engine dies and/or looses power, but strangely regains it at 3000rpm (if it gets there). Every now and then it dies alltogether, but will restart after 5 minutes.

I have been back and fourth to the dealer 16 times, car has it's own case number. Nothing is reported on the ecu, I have even had a couple of guys with diagnostic equipment plugged in and driving with the fault for all to see, all manner of parts have been replaced, ecu, injector system, fuel pump, filters. On a desperate last attempt, the turbo was replaced and for the last 4 weeks it has been fine. But I came back from holiday this week and it is back to it's old tricks.

What on earth could be wrong? It has been an absolute shocker of a car. I keep driving by the Mitsubishi garage and boy is it tempting.
