I'm looking at getting some new wheels and tyres for my T-Sport.

I'd like some light weight ones but can't afford the Magnesium ones.

What is the best option and where can i get them.

P.S. How do you think a T-Sport would get on against a BMW 330Cd???

You'd get whooped!! 330d has about 227 little horses, compressor would struggle to keep up as well. Think supposed to hit 60 in about 6.4 secs.

Depends what 330D it is. The lower 330D have 177Bhp and a supposed top speed of 137-142 Mph.

The higher ones however have around 230Bhp and limited to 155Mph. That's the newr shape 3 series anyway.

There is only one 330D, like I said it has 227 horses hit 60 in 6.4ish and as you rightly said is limited to 155. The 'lower 330D' as you put it is actually the 320D, that's the one with 177 bhp hit 60 in 7.9ish and go on to 144.

There have been various 330ds. Although none at the same time....

First ones had ~184bhp - probably a bit slower than a CTS, definitely slower than a Compressor.

Then in around 2003 they became ~ 204bhp - same ish as a CTS, slower than a Compressor.

Now they're 231bhp - CTS probably won't keep up, Compressor should still edge it.

There might have been another power output in between the 204 and 231 aswell.

3.0 litres and a turbo vs 1.8 litres and no turbo!

If the car is actually a 330cd then it will be one of the first 2 power outputs, as the later ones (E9x series, 05 on) aren't called cd, they're just a 330d Coupe.
