Does The 190bhp Model Suffer From The Oil Problems?

Hi,

Thinking of buying a t-sport 190 celica. A little concerned about the potential oil problems with the pistons. Does this happen on the 190s or just on the 140s?

No, it doesn't. Like any engine, the 190s need to be looked after, and some owners have had issues. These seem to mostly result in loss of lift, and in most cases are easily resolved.

Very few people have reported oil problems.
