Hi! I was wondering whether anyone could help me. I am thinking about purchasing a new Auris SR. I am a bit worried about the lowered suspension when it comes to going over speed humps and the like. Has anyone any experience of this? Thank you!

No personal experience, but if it's a new one then just pick your route to incorportate a few of the harsher bumps in your area when you test drive it.........that should answer your question !

I have lowered my 2.0 d4d t spirit with the optional springs (that you can buy at the dealer) I only experience the problems with really harsh bumps. I believe that the SR is sold with them as standard.

They only drop the car by 25mm!!!

I've had my SR for 4 months now and not had any problems with grounding on speed bumps, or when parking at 90° to a curb.

I have to say that speed bumps are not the worst to think about ... I used to have a Nissan 350z and i drove it into multistorey car parks no probs... my T180 ( which is not as low as the SR180 WITH the front accessory chin spoiler, will touch when going up the ramps in the same multistorey!

really annoying...
