Help Please Overheating Land Cruiser - Head? Block?

Good afternoon,

I hope you can help. My girlfriend has just bought a 1998 Land Cruiser Colorado VX 3ltr TD and it overheated on the way back losing a lot of water! She has just taken it into Toyota and they suspect a cracked head? Can anyone shed any light or recommend a good trustworthy and preferably local (Wandsworth SW London) specialist?

They have also informed us that it will require a diesel injection pump! Are there any good 2nd hand part suppliers for these items?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Not sure about your issuses but I use online breakers to get my parts, they are normally a good price.
