Car Park Dents

AM i the only one who parks my car in a supermarket car park, does the shopping , get back to the car and there we have a nice new dent in the door, done by some clumsy prat who cannot open a car door without slamming it into someones car. It must be one of three reasons, 1 car park spaces not wide enough.

2 people dont give a damm about other peoples property, or 3 people are getting fatter and need to open the doors wider? which one do you think???

I'd have to go for umm...... 1 + 2 + 3 if i'm honest. Not much you can do these days apart from taking the bus to go shopping or ordering online. I find supermarkets are just about the worst place to park. In all seriousness I think it is either harassed mum's with their kids that do the damage. Either because they have the kids screaming constantly and aren't paying attention or the kids themselves just swong the car doors open to get in and out and have no concept of respect for other people's property.

Number 2 is the main culprit I reckon. Sad reflection of society.

That and the fact that car doors are stupidly huge when opened nowadays. there's no need for a door to be that big !

Or do you ever notice you go to a car park, park as far away from other cars as possible with loads of spaces either side of you and when you come back there's a !Removed! big truck next to you or a three door car? i was the victim of a swinging door in the wind recently which has left me with a nice golf ball size mark above my door handle which is completely inaccessible from the back.

2, 3, & 1 in that order.

One way around it is to park far away from the shop entrance and straddle a line, very often you'll see idiots who were in the car park just ahead of you only managing to find a space close to the door to 'save time' as you're picking up your basket!

I've never had a dent put in this car in a park but have three put in by scouse git pedestrians carelessly carrying their bargain booze.

Admittedly have had the odd strange look when parking but I didn't Shell out £10K of my hard earned to let some unthinking tw4t bash my car willy nilly.
