hello, im new to the club and just trying to get a feel for it. just wondering why choose a celica? i got mine(gen 6 gt import) because i saw one every day when i walked to school and fell in love, i thought about a fiat coupe or mitsubshi FTO but ultimatley went with my young heart and have never looked back so just wonderin how did everyone else end up withn their celica?

I was walking through the dealerships lot after they closed one night and was not happy at all with anything i was seeing. Then sitting back in the corner i seen it. A 2000 celica gt-s . . . Loaded. I went up to it leaned over onto the hood, hugged it and said I'll be back for you in the morning. lol . Been in love with it ever since.

I was originally after a Mk2 MR2, but after much wondering i decided I was never going to fit a drum kit in it, so started looking at similar performance cars for the money, and the G6 seemed an obvious choice. I couldn't find a G6 I liked that fitted all the requirements, and the money was piling up (and the old Civic was slowly dying), so decided to go for G7 instead.

3 1/2 years later, still happy with it, but a little bored now, so looking to swap. But what for? I have no idea...

So guessed you got it then. what version. Never really had a THING for the celica. Was more into Nissana and the 200sx (see pics of my two cars on my prof) Rear wheel drive n all. But bought a Mk 5 1990 St 182 slowly tyding her up. It has grown on me big style (and no i am not losing love for the nissan) It helps in the ways of you can get parts any where, easy to fit 90% of the time. Rarly breaks down. Quite fuel efficant. It is a simple car that just excells. Looks are not bad for an 18 year old car. Still turns a lot of heads.

The moment i will never foerget in my car was when i was pulling out from the trent bridge pue after the Forest and Everton Derby and quite a Few people passing the comments of nice car and such.
