What No Verso Forum

So where has the Verso forum Gone ??

It appears to be lost to the main Corrolla forum - WITHOUT REGULAR MEMBERS BEING CONSULTED!

I saw a post in GD from a mod who said something like "after consulting members...." Well whoever they consulted, it wasn't done publicly.

The Corolla, MR2 and Yaris forums are the busiest ones on the site (excluding GD) and to lose sub forums in these sections really does make it tough to find relevant posts.

Now I know that mods near enough have to read every post and thread on the forums between them, and fair play to them as I've been and I am a mod on a number of extremely busy sites and it is tough, but I didn't sign on to that here, so I'm peeved about losing the sub forums personally.

As the Verso is a standalone vehicle in the Toyota range and not just a trim level on a Corolla it does make sense for it to have its own section. Really it shouldn't have been a sub-section before but had its own section with maybe a T180 sub-section.

Unfortunately despite a number of members voicing their opinions about what they feel was the wrong decision it looks unlikely that we will be listened to and have the sub forums re-instated.

The only option now seems to be to join a model specific forum....

I know why don't we just have one big Toyota Forum for all models, then nobody will be able to find anything!

I mean why be difficult when with a little more effort you can be :censor: impossible

I've asked the management to create a new forum specifically for the Verso, as it is now a car in it's own right ( rather than the original incarnation of an Avensis/Corolla or Yaris Variant ).

When this is created we will move the Verso threads into there. Please be a bit patient, this whole situation caught just about everyone out .

Just because some members don't write posts doesn't mean they don't read the forum.

My vote; Verso forum please.

I've only used this forum a couple of times to ask question, though with minimal response and trying to search has made it all the more difficult

For members to suggest that post count is more relevant than constructive critisism of wanting a dediacted Verso forum beggers belief and even more concerning when Moderators find it amusing.

Those types of responses won't encourage new members at all.
