Corolla In Name Only

As far as i'm aware Toyota have dropped the Corolla part of the Corolla Verso name.

The Verso is a stand alone product only sharing some mechanical components such as suspension with the Avensis. Why is there no section for this car any more? What has the Corolla section got to do with the Verso?

It's not that I look down on Corolla drivers (actually I do as they are different cars with the Verso having its seats raised on a higher floor).

Not just Corolla.

When the Versos first appeared they were variants of existing models - Corolla, Yaris and Avensis IIRC.

If Toyota have unified this into a stand alone model then yes, it should warrant it's own space.

The Corolla, Yaris and Avensis section all had subsections for the relevant verso variant.

I think its about time we had some explanation !!! the reasoning why a Verso is the same as a Corolla !! and the real reasons behind the changes and why it has not been discussed before implementing the changes
