Hi this is the first time I have put anything on this forum so any help would be very much appreciated. I have a Carina E 2L Auto Estate. I had the following problems, When I first of all started in the morning while in first gear the car would be very shuddery , while this was happening the engine management light would come on but the disappear, once I got going.

I have had my fuel filter changed yesterday as well as Ht leads checked as well as distributer cap changed, inside of distributer cap checked, the car runs better but now the engine management light is on all the time as well as the engine seems to be struggling when pulling away. The car is also a problem to start first thing like not enough petrol getting through.

Firstly just call me trev

Well, injectors are the most costly part of the fuel system to replace and i would always buy new.

If the engine light is on all the time then i would have a diagnostic check done.

could be coil problem, cold start, fuel press. regulator........etc

any number of things, hard to say without driving the car.

There is a fault code thread on here somewhere, tells you what they all mean.

Trev, I have now had a diagnostic check done it came back with the live and earth wires to map sensor broken, I have now repaired this and the good news is that the car is back to its normal self and pulling and running ok.

Thanks for all your Help
