is it definitely the motor that's at fault - There have been several instances where it's a fault with the wiring where it goes from the bodywork to the door.

Yeah it's the motor.

I took out the existing one when it first stopped working... It had siezed up, so I filled it with grease to get it working. It worked fine for a month until going again...
