Wheel Trims

Have any of you guys who've changed your wheels got a standard wheel trim that you'd like to sell.

I've just had a kerbing incident in the wifes Aygo and now one of her wheel trims is badly scratched.

PM me if you have, i'm willing to pay some beer money and P&P if you want to get rid of one.

That is probably because no Aygo owner had a wheel trim to spare..........................You could also have posted in the "Wanted" section............(The reason that you got so many views in Aygo is that there are so many Aygo owners in here that look at most, if not all, Aygo posts

It also may have helped if you had posted a picture up of the trim design as AFAIK Toyota do several trims for the Aygo :)

Theres no problem, if no one has one, then so be it.

It doesnt hurt to ask though, it's always nicer to give money to other owners rather than Toyota Mega Corp.

p.s. the wife is fine, it's the 2nd trim for that wheel as we already replaced it once after she kerbed it...oh well, not too bad for 2.5 years of ownership.

Why bother replacing it every time it gets scratched? Most of ours have some marks or other - easily replaced when we come to sell, but certainly not before.

As Davey says there is no point in replacing it just becasue you got it scratched; i'm sure there will be plenty more to come and therefore you will need plenty more wheel trims. Plus they are so easy to scratch. Funnily enough when I got alloys I got very low profile tyres and have only had one incident which included swerving to avoid a :censor: guy! Chipped an alloy I was sooo mad.

Anyways If you do decided to get another one; a good polish may get it out or make it less noticable or look on eBay! Get a set of four, one for now and three for every time you want another one :)

absolutely, get 4 from eBay , and comfort yourself with the fact you could probably get 8 trims for the price of an alloy!

there is a set on eBay right now for £20, also a set of alloys sitting at £80

not too much in the grand scheme of things....I could get both for less than a tank of diesel for my (its days are numbered) Discovery!
