Making A Post More Decorative

I've been posting for a little while now and was hoping someone might be able to help.

I've noticed some people have little pictures on the left hand side of the screen by their details and also little pictures as like a signature strip on the end of their posts.

I want them too!

On having a look at my controls etc I haven't been able to figure it out.

Can someone help me please?!?!

click on your 'My Controls' link,

Then, halfway down the page on the left hand side you'll see links for 'Edit Signature' and 'Edit Avatar Settings'

Have a play with them !

For the picture on the left it is under 'Avatars' on 'My Controls'.. and the thing at the bottom is called a 'Signature', to have a picture you first have to upload it to a host site like photobucket and then link it in with the correct code. Remember to keep your picture no more than 60 pixels as stated in the forums T&C.

We are currently reviewing users signatures and asking them to reduce them to the correct size.

I'm obviously rubbish.

I've done an avatar, it's the correct size, on the gallery on this website.

But when I try and load it I get error messages.

Here is my avatar below.

Any ideas?

To be honest I dont think you can hotlink from this forum. Try uploading it to photobucket or if you are still on when I get in from work in 30 mins I'll do it for you!
