Hi

My car is nearing the 7 year warranty threshold, i.e. it will be 7 years old and then toyota won't offer me the extended warranty. Im thinking of getting warranty cover from warranty direct. Has anybody dealt with these guys ? are they worth the warranty or is it as useless as a chocolate kettle :P

any ideas guys

I used Warranty Direct for my previous car, an 8 year old BMW, and found them to be extremely good. I had two claims during the period of warranty and both were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Yes, with warranty direct you can cancel whenever you want and you pay via monthly dd. Don't use warrantywise crooks: you pay all the money up front, only to find out you are not covered unless there is a catastrophic failure of the part (if you survive and don't have an accident as a result of it). And that is even though you have wear and tear cover. Stay away from warranty wise. I wish I have.

I used Warranty Direct for a Jaguar S-Type and made 2 x claims with no problems. they are pretty good and gave a good level of cover at the time. Make sure you are happy with the components they cover and don't cover before you sign up.
