Problem With New A-bar

Hi Everyone

DH just bought a rav4 and was mad for a chrome A-Bar for the front of it. Bought him one from eBay but of course i f**ked up and have bought the wrong one, it won't fit :(

His Rav4 is a 2002, 2.0L D4D Luna model, 5 door. The A-bar i bought is for toyota 2.0i II chassis ACA20/21.

Can anyone tell me what i bought? And what type of one i need to buy that will fit our Rav4?

Hi Purdey welcome to the mad house

I believe the expression is fek! (thats not swearing over there mods!)

You have bought a gaurd for the later 4.2 with the round spotlights;

............when you should have bought one for the earlier 4.2 with the rectangular spot lights;

I wouldn't worry too much as you can sell it quite easily and then get the right one. I suspect your not the first and you certainly won't be the last but in any case I'm sure he appreciates such a lovely gesture - I would.

Just noticed you are in SE Ireland so doing a deal on that may be a bit difficult :(

I'm travelling from Dun Laoghaire (south Dublin) to Warwickshire on Thursday 28th, leaving on 1130 ferry, plenty of room on the way over (but hardly any on the way back, with a bit of luck!!) so I'm sure between us we could figure a way of getting the A bar across, if you want to do a deal.
