Can anyone tell me before I change my rear brake pads. Do i need a wind back tool to move back the piston on the Caliper or will it just push back.

Thanks in advance. Nick

Just moved straight back mate. If you look in the Pinned section there's a full walkthrough for brakes :)

Yep I had a look at that and will use it in place of a Haynes manual (which you can't get). I just wanted to check with someone that has already done it. On a another jap car I once changed the pads on I was stuffed at the point of pushing back the piston because that needed a wind back tool. If I had used a G clamp on that I would probably of busted the caliper. I did not want start taking this car apart and then have to put all back together to run down to the tool shop and get one. If it went straight back that saves me buying one beforehand. Cheers mate.......

usually its cars which have the handbrake locking the disc that have a ratchet on the rear pistons. t sport handbrake is separate so its just a straight piston.
