Should Rev Counter Light Up.

Hi all fitted rev counter but when lights turned on does not light up,wondered if bulb faulty,wiring seems okay.Anyone know if you can get into the unit to change a bulb.

Yes it should light up. When I first fitted mine I thought it hadn't lit up when I switched the lights on to check but it was broad daylight so I couldn't tell. Check again when its dark (it is abit duller than the speedo).

Fitted mine the day before yesterday and it lights up.

Nu bulbs but LEDs inside, so if it doesn't work, take it back...

Is it possible to reverse the wires for the lights in the rev counter ?

Regular bulbs don't mind which way the +/- are used but LEDs do.

Not really... The Rev Counter is connected through a non-reversible plug,

so it can only be connected in one way and the LEDs are soldered onto

the PCB, so can't really be the wrong way round either...

Emailed seller he said unit faulty,going to send new one out to replace faulty one,he said no servicable parts inside.At least i now know nothing i did.Also told me to keep bezel as painted lagoon blue to match interior.
